Sports (including things like culinary and other competitions) is one of my favorite genres. Hm, specialized manga, perhaps... with special topics, is another way to put it. I'm not big on horror.
Shidou is pretty intimidating in a match. But almost everyone in the series is intimidating in a match. XD; Their auras completely change! If Sayuri switched to Yodaka, that would have completely messed up the story, haha, but I was thinking... look, here's a guy who's already really strong in kendo! And he has the sight too! You could've easily chosen him instead if Hiroto's sight is the thing that made you decide on him. But I guess Sayuri's attached to Hiroto now, and there must be something more special from teaching Hiroto from scratch whereas Yodaka already has his own style.
