On writing

Got a new Yahtzee card for getyourwordsout (previous round ended :3;; ). Decided to go with just character traits this time to make it easier to write a connected story if I wanted to.



I've started on the extra/crossover chapter of so we can get to know you and A Vice-Captain's Tale. So far, it's 4.7k words. I'm about halfway through. :') After I'm done, I might post it in parts... or just all in one go. XD; I expect the length to be around 8-10k. I signed up for a trial month over at 4thewords.com, and it's been doing wonders for my word count. You basically battle monsters and level up through writing a lot. So I've been typing away without doing much editing (oh boy will I need to edit). A lot of this doesn't even make sense... :'D But it's been interesting seeing what kind of style and content I default to when I'm not planning much or dithering over my prose. And it feels good to just be writing something~

I seemed to have signed up right around when the site is being migrated though and updated to a new version. So I'll have to see if I like the new version after the update to determine if I'll continue with the site. :3;; (They did mention special monsters/quests for NaNoWriMo, which is pretty cool~)

Also, I nominated some fandoms for yuletide thanks to D's reminder. Yay~ (Still can't believe Yuletide is already here)
