Most of the sub jobs I've had, there are instructions for show them this powerpoint and talk about the information with them (English, Math). Or actually do teach what would normally happen that day (Elementary). I've only had one "show a movie", but there were questions with the movie that they needed help on, so I ended up teaching science concepts. It is one of my strengths to be able to pick up a subject and to help the students out competently (especially math). Yesterday was the first day where I really didn't have to do anything.

I think if the teacher knows who they are going to get ('cause they can technically look through a list and pick), they will let that person teach if they can. So it surprising to me to see how many jobs I've had where they trusted a guest to teach (although it wasn't anything complicated). For my band directors, they've known me forever and they knew I was certified in music. If it was another sub, they team-teach everything so they would have just combined classes or pulled one out of marching band to cover the concert band.

Love the 3rd book! Still my fav :) Nice blend of light-hearted, but darker plot progression w/ some magical charm and humor. Whenever I see the first movie on TV, I'm like "Holy cow... they look younger than I remember!"

I don't think I've seen any series out of order except PoT. And I haven't watched many of the episodes I saw a long time ago again yet 'cause I still need to finish the series The best way to describe how I watched PoT is...

National OVAs (saw Fuji in Ep. 4) continued in order (while watching the regular series)
Started the regular series only watching the Fuji matches... and then met Tezuka and watched all his matches... Atobe!!!!... Hyotei... All-Star Camp... Rikkai... Filler episodes... Training Camp.. Other arcs... The beginning 10... ranking matches...
