Yuletide
How to spot Lucathia's fic(s) -> They are always posted veeery close to the deadline. I never learn. Hm, the fic for my recipient did not turn out like I'd planned at all. (And it ended up in an entirely different fandom...how does that work...) *frets* I hope my recipient won't be too disappointed with it. I have two other ideas I'd considered and am now writing the second idea, which I'm having fun with. More fics for my recipient! \o/ (Is it bad that I want to make up with quantity because I'm so unsure about the quality of the fic?) I've also been entertaining a few other ideas for treats for other people whose letters unleashed rampant plunnies for me... but I'll have to see if I can get around to them. It's crunch time!

I've been stalking the pinch hit list, but even though I've seen fandoms I can possibly write, the optional details ask for things I don't know how to write. I think I will probably go without claiming a pinch hit this year. But will I break my personal record of 3 Yuletide fics? Might be hard... :'( Oh NaNoWriMo word-vomiting skills... why have you abandoned me now?

Writing Communities
I pledged to write 150k next year over at [livejournal.com profile] getyourwordsout (after seeing [livejournal.com profile] sinonymity join). I calculated how much I've written so far this year. I'm in the over 100k range with NaNo included, so 150k would just be a little more than that. I can do that, right? XD

LJ and the changes with comments make me sad. ): I didn't notice right away since my journal layout has stylized comments, but in communities, all the subjects are gone. I wonder if I should try to tweak some S2 layout to emulate old comment pages so that we can have subject lines for [livejournal.com profile] colors_tcg... Otherwise some of the instructions in many of the posts won't make sense, as I do ask players to label their comments with the subject headings, and organization will be a pain without headers. I just hope subject lines in S2 stay...
