[livejournal.com profile] yuletide reveals are up. That means fic spamming time! I wrote three fics in all, so you'll be seeing those from me, plus another post with some of my random Yuletide thoughts. Happy New Years everyone!

Title: Into the Light
Fandom: Penguin Revolution
Words: 5,038
Summary: Sometimes, Yukari dreamed of walking into the light, of the wings that had stolen her breath away. Ten years later, Ryou was giving her the chance to dream again... even if that meant she was now the boss of PEACOCK.
Notes: Written for [livejournal.com profile] bookchan for [livejournal.com profile] yuletide 2010. When I opened up my Yuletide 2009 doc, I found out that I had [livejournal.com profile] bookchan's Penguin Revolution prompt saved from last year! This is a prompt that I feel needs even more than 5,000 words to explore (or maybe I'm just too wordy). When I started writing this, I was still in my NaNo state, which meant I was able to write a lot of words, except nothing happened in those words, just like with my NaNo story. In the end, this reads much more like an introduction. *sigh* A 5k word introduction. It was a little hard for me to imagine what kind of roles Japanese actors could manage in America, but the end of the manga mentioned that they were moving their focus to America, so I tried to think of a way they could make a name for themselves overseas. Thank you for requesting Penguin Revolution, [livejournal.com profile] bookchan! I was very glad I got to explore the series with some future fic.

Title: Santa Said Come
Fandom: Yoroshiku Master
Words: 2,866
Summary: On Halloween, Black Santa came to test them, but theirs was a different test. Rihito would have preferred Kaito's test much better than the one he ended up getting.
Notes: Pinch hit written for [livejournal.com profile] cairnsy for [livejournal.com profile] yuletide 2010! I was very glad I managed to snatch this pinch hit up since I'd been wanting to see Yoroshiku Master fic, especially fic on Rihito and Daisuke. Thankfully, Yoroshiku Master is only 3 volumes long, so reviewing the series was very quick and easy (and I was dearly hoping I could get out of my NaNo mindset. 2,866 words... I did a little better?). I'd forgotten a lot of details (like the fact that Black Santa came to visit Rihito and Daisuke on Halloween). I thought that'd be perfect to explore, especially since I didn't detail that in my own Yuletide letter. I didn't want my fic to end up too much like what I detailed myself, haha. Thank you [livejournal.com profile] cairnsy, for requesting (and suggesting?) Yoroshiku Master! Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to write this. :3

Title: Stuck on a Carpet
Fandom: 1/2 Prince
Words: 4,140
Summary: Being stuck on a carpet with Lolidragon - never mind the fact that Sunshine was also there - was making Yang Ming think very strange thoughts.
Notes: Written as a treat for [livejournal.com profile] darkicedragon for [livejournal.com profile] yuletide 2010. Because I had a feeling all of my extra gifts were from Darkicedragon, and I was right. =P I wasn't sure if we could gift treats to people who weren't officially signed up with Yuletide, so I asked around the 23rd or so. When I officially knew I could, I started writing this. XD; On the 24th. XDDD When I was supposed to be leaving the house. This really came out of nowhere. 4k words out of nowhere! *flails* I had to leave the house without editing the fic (I posted it the moment I finished typing the last word). I returned home with half an hour left until the archive went live. I very, very quickly read through the fic once and fixed some very embarrassing typos, but that was all I managed in that time frame. Thankfully, I did it quickly enough that I didn't get kicked out of the archive. \o/ Uh, as for the actual fic, I chose Yang Ming's POV since at this point in the manhua, we know more about him than Lolidragon. I find it hard to write her when we haven't seen her offline personality. Yang Ming and Lolidragon's romance is pretty fascinating. It seems to spring out of nowhere in the manhua, but in the novel, there are more signs. I enjoyed writing this. XD I seem to like writing romantic comedies. This one parallels Give Me Your Hand a lot.
Notes 2: Set during chapter 45-46 of the manhua, which makes it volume 7 of the novel. This uses a mix of both sources.
