I used to ask my relatives to buy me Chinese editions of manga whenever they visited. The manga were much less expensive back then, anywhere from 65 TWD to 90 TWD (around $2-$3 in US currency), and usually I could get discounts since I buy a lot at once. Now though, I'm buying Japanese editions, with inflated prices because of shipping costs...and the US dollar is doing so badly, so I can't bring myself to buy a lot. Which isn't a bad thing I guess, since I'm running out of room. ^^;;
