This was a piece that wrote itself after I got started. I started with just Chizu's dad, but then her sister wanted a say too. You put it into words much better than anything I could say about what I was trying to do here. XD; Chizu's last chapter made a large impression on me, both with the storytelling (a bittersweet flashback chapter after the battle! completely different from the other pilots) and with how different Chizu was in it. Chizu's family is such a trusting family too. Other families probably would have reacted differently if their child had done what Chizu did.
