Gosh, I read 9 volumes of this manga in a day. XD; My favorite manga genre is sports after all, followed by genderbenders. This manga makes me feel so excited. Gotta get the next volumes...

The main character, Maruo Eiichirou, is of all things, a data tennis player. I love that! He takes detailed and very organized notes, and he analyzes his opponents' play as well as his own. He's always jotting down notes even during a match. It's exciting seeing how he begins acquiring his own style and how he starts understanding how his opponents play. He starts playing tennis fairly late and isn't much of a sports person before he discovers tennis, but he's tenacious and earnest. He kind of reminds me of Apollo Justice from Ace Attorney (his hair too, hehe).

I just love seeing this guy improve and succeed, working from the bottom up. I want to see how far he can go! There are plenty of other amusing characters in the series too, but I enjoy seeing the main character's growth the most.

...I'm going to catch up with Ace of Diamond next. XD Then maybe Area no Kishi...I forgot where I stopped with that series even though I've been buying it. Oh, and I still have Mr. Fullswing that I lugged back from Japan. XD;

Being absolutely hopeless in Japanese, I went and downloaded all of the currently available scanlations on it. I have to agree E-chan is so adorkable and kinda like Apollo Justice. Now I kinda want tennis!AU for GS4. :\

Manga with real tennis?
Where do you read it? I checked Mangafox and they only have like three volumes (18 chapters) so far

...Ooh, I kept seeing that update on Onemanga, but I didn't know it was about tennis, or I would have started it for sure! Thanks for the rec, I'll definitely be taking a look at it~ I'm such a sucker for sports manga too, even if I haven't read nearly as many as you have XDDD;;;
