I thought we already took quite a lot of pics, but apparently not! The actual con report is here at my personal lj. Sometimes I find it hard to juggle my "fandom" lj and my personal lj since fandom is so much a part of my life. Conventions are seriously the time when real life and fandom crosses over most prominently.

Below are pics of cosplayers at Fanime'06 that

ranier and I took. No D.Grayman cosplay pics included in this post, because I'm going to make a separate post for that. We took a lot of pics of ourselves and of our groups...too much to include in this post!

Avatar cosplayers! There was also a Zuko and an Aang who entered the "Cosplay Spectacular."

I think the Cloud cosplayer looks like he came straight out of the Advent children movie. XD;;

Aww, Inui and Kaidoh eating ice cream together! XD;; And to the right, St. Rudolph's doubles pair!!! XD;;

They even have a Mizuki with that shirt. XD;; Shishido~ &hearts;

Popsicles!! Those keyblades are pretty cool too. And I looove their hair. I can't even DRAW hair as well as how they styled their wigs. I saw Sora take off the wig at one point. Quite funny.

Jiraiya actually has a pretty scary expression here. XD;; And Orochimaru. That tongue. 0_0;;

This guy's like the trademark of Fanime. I always see him there. He cosplayed as Raiden from Metal Gear one year. I remember him most for that.

I told

ranier, "look! 21!! It's Sena!!" And then we went chasing after that 21. XD;; She actually had the helmet with the green visor too. She couldn't put it on because she'd mess up her hair. Too bad we never found the Hiruma she mentioned. D=

SK. I saw a tiny girl cosplaying as Pirika too. That was cute.

There are always a few Star Wars cosplayers. And Harry Potter ones, though I didn't get those on camera. There was this one Draco that I saw though...

Suikoden III. Their costumes were AWESOME. So detailed. Their skin color fits perfectly too. And the hair! Perfect!

Yakitate!Japan. XD;; Her bread actually looks fresh. There was this other guy who went around with moldy bread. Told us that he bought his bread...uh...two weeks ago? Nasty! There's green stuff growing over it!

Tenimyusa on the big screen. These pics are from the award ceremonies. I only took very shaky videos of some of the skits instead of pics. Like last year, their performance was impressive.

Takarazuka version of Rose of Versailles.

Can't see it well, but this is the Kingdom Hearts II group. Their skit wasn't so much of a skit. But it was soo funny. They lined up in a line and did these motions...with the first person doing an action and the second person doing the same action when they get to the point where the first person was...I don't know what that's called...

Zuko and Aang. Their skit was pretty funny. At one point, Zuko said to Aang, "I am your father." XD;;

AVATAR COSPLAYERS! XD That's so cool, damnit.

Yeah, it was pretty cool to see Avatar cosplayers. I only saw those three though...no Kitara or Soka!! I didn't get a close up pic of Zuko and Aang. They were actually in the artist alley at one point. They didn't actually shave their heads. XD;;

I know!! I always see a lot of Cloud cosplayers at Fanime, but not all of them look as real as that!

The Inui and Kaidoh cosplayers were about to get up when

ranier asked them for a pic, but she wanted them to just stay like that since it looked so cute. XD;; T

here weren't actually many One Piece cosplayers. I thought there'd be more!

As for ES21, I'm so happy that there was a Sena! I was almost afraid no one would cosplay that series. I so wish I saw the Hiruma. We heard from the Sena that the person cosplaying as Hiruma carries around a big weapon! That person shouldn't have been easy to miss! I guess we were in the rooms too much...

Yakitate cosplays are cute. <3 They should bring bread with them for lunch and dinner. :DD

I know that I found quite a few in the past. Of course my bro was the fan at the time and I just took pictures of "that red-haired guy" or "the guy with the swords". XD;; Luffy got cosplayed a lot.

That is so like Hiruma. XD Hoping it's a FAKE weapon though.

For PoT, I'd really love to see someone cosplaying Kaneda and Akazawa. Or Niou and Yagyuu. :3

There were still a few Luffys, but not so much of the other people. Luffy's easy to cosplay. XD;;

Hiruma's hard to cosplay! The outfit's not too hard...either the school uniform or the actual football uniform. But that person would need pointy ears! The teeth's probably not possible. XD;;

Your comment about there being tons of Eijis but only one male Eiji reminds me that almost all of my cosplay group were female. And yet, most of the characters cosplayed were guys. There were only three female characters to cosplay as, after all.

The most cosplayed tenipuri characters I see are Seigaku and Hyotei. A few Rikkai here and there. But St. Rudolph...that's rare!

True. A costume store would probably have both the ears and the teeth. One set of pointy teeth would probably do it. Darn. I hope I see ES21 cosplayers at AX!!

There are TONS AND TONS. Goodness you'd need lots of film. XD;; Or be very picky on who you take pics of.

Yep, I scanned them. ^^ I didn't think they were that good though when scanned. XD;; And I haven't seen any others aside from the Suwabara. There might've been an Azuma but I wasn't sure. XD;;

I wouldn't be surprised that mostly females cosplayed as the Tenipuri guys. Because we love them so. X3

St. Rudolph... ah if only I had the clothing. I would so cosplay as them. St. Rudolph is rare when it comes to merchandise too! They haven't been on many bromides as far as I know.

I used to take pics of almost everyone I saw, but it's kind of hard to ask so many people! I'm still relunctant at times to ask people for their pics. But at least, with a digital camera, I almost never ran out of room to take pics.

Tenimyu let me know that guys can dress up as tenipuri characters and look great too. :DD

Yeah, I haven't seen much St. Rudolph merchandise! At Fanime, I only saw...hm, Seigaku stuff, some Hyotei and some Rikkai. Ah, just like how I only saw mostly cosplayers for those three teams.

Is it going to be hot? D= I thought I was going to die of heat during Fanime because of my long sleeves, gloves, and turleneck, but it turned out really cold because of the AC.

I think...well, at least this time, the only cosplayer I chased after was Sena. XD;;

Well if we're outside (usually the gatherings are outside and most of the cosplayers are outside), it's going to be hot. XD;; Otherwise I think it'll be cool inside the convention center. *nods*

I don't usually chase after anyone but the Kaidoh cosplayer (the first one on my pic post) I saw like 7 times. XD Tis fate.

I haven't a clue yet. They haven't sent us our badges or confirmation or anything. @_@ And the program (which has the gathering details) should be available on the day of. ^^ I'll let you know if I find anything.
