Yuletide

yuletide is an annual fic exchange for rare fandoms. Last year, there were 1895 participants. It's a big exchange, haha.
Timeline:
Nominations: September 22nd - 29th
Tag mods’ nominations review: September 30th - October 10th
Public nominations review: October 11th - 18th
Sign-ups: October 19th - 25th
Assignments out: approximately November 1st
Assignments due: December 20th
Reveal: December 25th
I nominated Legend of Sun Knight, Akatsuki no Yona, and Kamigami no Asobi~. :D
But I see a lot of other nominated series I'm interested in, like +Anima, Aruosumente, Basara, Bokura no Kiseki, Chihayafuru, Dengeki Daisy, Fate/Zero, Hunter x Hunter, K, Kakumeiki Valvrave, Log Horizon (RUDY), Magic Kaito, Natsume Yuujinchou, No 6, Noblesse, Ookiku Furikabutte, Romeo x Juliet, Saiunkoku Monogatari, SKET Dance, Suisei no Gargantia, Uchuu Kyoudai, Ultra Maniac, Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii, Ace of Diamond, Seiyuu ka! (omg), Yowamushi Pedal, Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, Just from the anime/manga section.
From the books section, I usually read fics from Enchanted Forest Chronicles, the Immortals, and some other series. Ooooh, I see High Speed and Hataraku Maou-sama were nominated for the books section.
Edge of Tomorrow in the movies section.
Whoa, Cirque du Soleil: Ka!! in the other media & theater sections. My favorite Cirque du Soleil show~.
Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Live Action. (There's also Sailor Moon Crystal in the anime/manga section this year, wow).
Final Fantasy VI, The World Ends with You, Suikoden I, Suikoden III, Wild Arms, and Wild Arms 3 in the video games section. Oh, there's also Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright (I'm still only in the beginning stages of the game). There's also two Fire Emblem games nominated, but none of my favorite characters from them.
I would have no trouble requesting stuff. XD There are much fewer fandoms I would be able to write though, especially when I don't have as much time to review the canon.
I'm going to be traveling in December though, so it's likely I'll have to pass this year. D: Yuuuuuletide, ahhhhh. My yearly tradition!
Hm, but what if I skip out on Yuletide and instead... actually... attempt NaNoWriMo again in November... No, no, I shouldn't attempt Nano either. I don't have time for it! *flops* I might just aim for 50k again from all my stories combined instead of starting a new story. I shouldn't start any new stories. :'D;; (One day, Adair, one day. I'm so going to write canon from his POV)
