fic translations

Jenny Flint has offered to translate my fics into Spanish and has translated three of my oneshots to start things off! \o\ (The three oneshots I've written about Adair)

Eeeee. This is just amazing. Future Spanish translations can be found at Lucathia Rykatu-esp. I cannot get over how amazing this is. I'm now trying to read my own fics in Spanish with my bare understanding of Spanish. XD;

Also, this has made me want to translate a few of my fics into Chinese all over again. I might do it some day, and it would be good practice for my Chinese composition.

My fic writing hasn't gotten far these past few days, but I'm excited to try out Dragon NaturallySpeaking! I bought myself the program when I saw it on sale. (A big part of my motivation this year for NaNo was for the discounts for various programs for winning, haha, but I'm very faaar from winning. I managed to find discounts elsewhere though, so yay!) I've been wanting to try Dragon out for ages. Windows 7's built in speech-to-text is okay, but I'm hoping Dragon will be even better! I'd like to use it to write fic, but I wonder how I'd do with speaking my fics out loud, haha. It might actually be more difficult, but who knows? I'm always looking for different ways to plop my ideas down. XD; I first have to update the vocabulary database though, or else names will give the program some difficulties. At least it recognizes Adair. =P Lesus is giving it trouble though. I keep getting leases and lace and am having difficulty having the program learn my pronunciation of Lesus... XD

interesting discussion that, don't really know if it's a regional thing, I actually didn't know the spanish name of the fruit (hadn't actually seen one since.... more than 10 years) and bumped into some in a supermarket it had the name in the tag (both in english and spanish), that's how I found it

lol yes, I find it extremely awkward writing (and sometimes drawing) when my family is around... gosh, and it being a speech to text (background sound aside)... yes, thoughts are indeed arranged differently, it'll be interesting to read it too.

currently I don't know any apps, android has SVOX or something like that. quite natural sounding voices, but I haven't found how to use them yet (and it's paid ones)
