The Final Match Rikkai 2 featuring the Rivals

This was the last musical in the storyline for Tenipuri! I was practically grinning through the whole thing, but possibly this will only happen for Ryoma fans like me. XD; Because wow, this musical was full of Ryoma. It was Ryoma, Ryoma, and more Ryoma. Plus some rivals. And boy, do I love Ryoma's rivals (I'm a fan of almost all of them), so that made me grin even more. I'm very glad Ryuuki was the Ryoma for these last musicals. I didn't think he felt like Ryoma when I first saw him, but I've come to really like his voice, and the way he asks if tennis is fun amuses me to no end.


Rikkai is so eerie looking. XD;


I loved how this musical expanded on how each person Ryoma battled helped him regain his memories by playing against him. This musical sure fleshed things out! It was a little repetitive, but it was also a touching trip through the whole series. And it's also touching how so many people want to help Ryoma. Kaidou looked so cute when Ryoma called him Kaidou-sempai.


And then, all the rivals came to help him! Shinji kept muttering that Ryoma must be faking his amnesia. XDDD


Yuuta was so CHEERFUL. Such a different Yuuta than the one full of resentment towards his brother that Ryoma first faced. Yuuta was really cute though. |D KENN is the oldest returning member, isn't he? He was there since way back! I'm glad he was able to return.


Hehe, Akutsu. We all know he cares!


This part was amusing. Inui started blabbering about his data on Hiyoshi, but everyone else stole his lines. Poor Inui! And then, they stopped at the part where they say, "And his favorite line is...!" They were hoping that Ryoma would be able to go along with the flow and fill it in, but all Ryoma could do was, "Ge...ge...ge..." Hiyoshi couldn't stand it and yelled out "GEKOKUJOU!" |D


Ryoma was poking Tanishi's chubby stomach, hahahaha. I can't believe Ryoma isn't tired out from playing against SO MANY PEOPLE.


After all those people, even Sanada came. |D


Neither Sanada nor Atobe held back. Atobe started off his his Koori no Sekai! I still think the way they did the ice sounds really pretty.


I think this was the intermission? This one was so funny. Poor Yuuta wanted to be first to the scene, but he tripped. Afterwards, all the rivals walked by, told him that they'd get there first, and they kept calling him "Otouto". Yuuta~ ♥


I've always thought the Trio has the best coordination. |D Silly as they are.


I didn't like Banzai (the song) but seeing them on stage singing it was so cute.


All of them looked so cool in their school uniforms.


I kind of noticed however...


That all the more "friendly" schools wear gakuran while the more antagonistic schools wear suits?


Look at Higa's! That's so not a school uniform. XD


Yamabuki's still looks like a sports uniform.


Afterwards, we have the trio in their second year outfits! :DDD


So cute~


What must it feel like to be in the center with all those people? :3

So yeah, I was grinning throughout this musical. Ryoma~~ ♥ The rest of Seigaku didn't get to do much though. Neither did Rikkai. Ryuuki sang so much!

I took a total of ~1200 screencaps, haha. Will be a lot to sort through...they're mostly closeups with 1-2 people in them since those look best for deckmaking. |D

FEEEEEEEEEEEEEL THE RYOMA LOVE!! *_____* I sat all :D and D: throughout the musical, because yeah. Ryuuki has really, really grown as an actor, and he shone so very brightly through all of this. Yukimura actor impressed me as well, actually. =O Well, except for his pretty narmy scream... >.>

Yuuta was SO MUCH LOVE. *_* So was the Trio. And poor, poor Inui. XDD

So much Ryoma love! *flails* I love that they did the waterfall scene too. Yay for father-son bonding. And the fact that both Ueshima and Ryuuki were calling Nanjirou "Papa" at the end. That was cute. XD

I kept hearing "Kami no kooooo" after I finished watching the musical. XD; Yukimura had quite the presence.

I was grinning stupidly when Yuuta was almost...spazzing. XD;

I've yet to watch a lot of things too! This musical made me very nostalgic though. :)
