Tenipuri, Holiday wishlist
I finally bought PairPuri vol 1 over Thanksgiving break, and now PairPuri vol 2 is out already! But of course my bookstore doesn't have it yet. This Kinokuniya is so slow. =/ PairPuri vol 1 is also ridiculously thin. I didn't think it was all that thin when I saw the scans for it, but having it in my hands is different. I'll still be buying all of them since I can't resist Tenipuri data books. (Also, Shin Tenipuri ch20. Loving Inui and Yanagi's data SO HARD.)
I'm still hoping Houkago no Oujisama will get printed into volumes because I want those missing chapters. ):
...I totally failed in my translation goals last month. ):
I've yet to do a holiday card post this year. I think I'll have to go digital considering it's late already!
-----
Holiday wishlist! (These instructions have grown longer since last time!)
Step One:
- Make an LJ post, either public or locked (although public give people who aren't on your flist a chance to give you presents :D). The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. These wishes can be anything, from simple and fandom-related (a fic written about your favorite pairing), to medium (a DVD you want), to really extravagant (a brand new car). Just make sure these are wishes for things you really, truly want.
- If you wish for real life things, like a DVD or CD, make sure you include some sort of contact information in your post. It can be your address or your email address, as long as Santa (or one of his elves) can somehow get in touch with you. ;)
- Make sure you post a version of these guidelines in your LJ, because it's important that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two:
- Skim through your friend's list (or the brand new friends of friend's list, or random journals) to see who has posted their list. Now is the most important part: if you find a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so. Make that person's wish come true! Sometimes your trash is another person's treasure! If you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use - or you even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free - give it to someone who wants it!
Step Three:
- Post this in your LJ any time after November 1st, then repost it two weeks before Christmas (a.k.a. December 11th)
Step Four:
- You don't need to spend money on these wishes to make them come true. Only spend money if you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf. It's to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not, it's all up to you. :)
- There are no rules for this project, nor are there any guarantees or strings attached. Just wish! Your wish might come true! And give if you can. You'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday a special one. :)
The Wishlist~:
♥ fishbones related things. The only reason my fishbone collection is this large is thanks to everyone who's thought of me whenever they saw fishbones around them. :) Actual things like keychains or virtual things like icons are all very much adored.
♥ paid LJ time. My paid account is expiring this month. I don't know if LJ is doing the giving more thing this year where you get more for buying other people LJ extras, but if LJ does do that, I hope someone will like to trade LJ time with me. |D
♥ for more people to join
twistserve_tcg. Running this Tenipuri TCG has taken over my life. I'd really like to see more people join. Um, our fast pace over there might be a bit intimidating, but everyone can play at their own paces! And we're all very welcoming!
♥ for some translators to join me in translating fanbooks over at
fanbook. One of my ambitions is to translate fanbooks and make information in them easily accessible. So far, it's mostly been a single person endeavor (looks like it won't be a one person endeavor anymore!), but I made a community to invite more people to join me in the endeavor and to make translations centralized. Maybe I haven't been going about it the right way. XD; (ALSO, for PairPuri especially, we'd like some cleaners to help with the scanlating portion.)
♥ Yu Yu Hakusho on Blu-ray. It is ridiculously expensive. There are three box sets that cover the entire series, and each one is 42,000 yen or more. But I only have bad quality VHS versions of YYH. I really miss the series. Kurama is still my favorite character of all times. [I'm not actually asking people to get this because it's much too expensive. :3 But one day, I hope I'll be able to get these for myself, or that the price will come down!]
♥ fanwork for any of the following. (fanfic, fanart, icons, whatever!) 1/2 Prince, Kimi to Boku, Mekakushi no Kuni, Yoroshiku Master, Double Arts, Bokurano, Dear Boys, Fire Emblem 6 (especially Chad, Lugh, and Ray), Overdrive (Kurosuke~), Dennou Coil, Zig Zag, Shion no Ou, Detective Academy Q, Kaichou wa Maid-sama, Uninhabited Planet Survive, Mintna Bokura, Charming Junkie, Saiunkoku Monogatari (I love Tan-tan), Karakuri Odette, Busou Renkin (I really adore Gouta). The list is very similar to last years with only a few changes. :3
♥ recs for the following. Any genderbending series (manga or anime) I've missed. Long, plotty KuroxFai fic (Tsubasa). KlavierxPhoenix fanwork (Ace Attorney). Long, plotty Yu Yu Hakusho fanfic. Crossover fic! Viral or Rossiu fanwork (TTGL).
♥ to get to know people on my flist better. Even online, I can't seem to get close to people. If you could tell me one thing about you that you'd like to share, that would be a start. :) Like, what you're doing now, or what you're looking forward to. Anything! And if you want to ask me something, that's fine too.
♥ snail mail from my flist! :)
♥ more bookshelf space. I really need to reorganize my room. I managed to fit all my manga from my Japan trip on my shelves, but now they're full. I have no more room for new manga. =/
I'm still hoping Houkago no Oujisama will get printed into volumes because I want those missing chapters. ):

If you ever do any Bokurano fanwork, please point me to it. |D There's way too little Bokurano fanwork around. Best of luck with your advent calendar!
I dislike spiders a lot, but I'm not deathly afraid of them. They do scare me sometimes when they suddenly appear out of nowhere. You would totally hate my house because I seem to get a lot of spiders. They used to be daddy long legs (they're big spiders but they're relatively harmless and have super thin legs and small bodies) but now I've been getting fat, furry spiders. *shivers* It's time to do some thorough cleaning. >___>
Um, let's see, other than my dislike about spiders, I also have very sensitive skin. In elementary school, when I came back from a trip overseas, I had mosquito bites all over my face (and they were very swollen). My teacher thought I had chicken pox and was infective, haha. |D Another time, I had identical swollen bumps on both of my wrists...my doctor thought that maybe a spider had crawled over them. D:

I reeeally wouldn't like your house o_O do you actually have poisonous spiders in your area? I always think my fear of spiders is really pathetic because all the spiders in Germany are completly harmless to humans.
I kind of have sensitive skin because I've got a mild case of neurodermatitis. So I can't wear any kind of metal close to my skin for too long or get my ears pierced, but I was always okay with mosquito bites. This year when I visited stillarium in Vienna I got three bites that became reeeally big and swollen to the point that people wouldn't believe they were just ordinary mosquito bites. Did you get to stay home from school when your teacher thought you were sick? XD
I sometimes got to go home early because I'm really...well...pasty. My skin just doesn't tan. I'm often asked if I'm not feeling well x'D and sometimes I used that to my advantage *cough*. When I got my tonsills removed the doctor thought I had to be anemic until he saw my mom who looks just like me.
my doctor thought that maybe a spider had crawled over them. D:
Spiders can cause that kind of skin reaction in your region? ...>_>

...I've seen black widows around (thankfully, not too often). I dearly hope that none of the spiders that make it into my house are poisonous. That would be bad.
Does that mean you can't wear necklaces either if they touch your skin? How about watches? I guess you could get watches with leather bands instead...? I don't think I stayed home back then with my mosquito bites. I liked school too much then. XDDD
Wow, you're that pale? Do you ever get sunburned? I always thought lighter skin made getting sunburned a higher possibility. I have light skin, but I tan fairly easily. I just usually wear long sleeves and long pants.
I think my skin was just too sensitive with the spider business. >__> I was playing with an old highlighter one day by twirling it around between my fingers...and my fingers started swelling. 0____0;; THAT scared me. Might've been because the highlighter was dusty. Or maybe it was the ink on the outside.

I've been okay with real silver necklaces so far, but "fake" jewelry doesn't work so well. It's also a pain to find belts that don't irritate my skin where the clasp comes in contact with my belly. I have a watch with a leather band, yes :) and sometimes I put sticky tape on the underside of the actual watch.
Haha, I don't think I ever liked school enough to miss an opportunity to skip it xD Well, maybe the first few days of elementary school. I didn't even like kindergarten much. I wasn't very good at socializing with the other children x'D
Actually that's right. Lighter skin means higher danger of sunburns. I haven't got sunburned in at least ten years though. I remember that I had sunburns as a kid a couple of times. I can't say that I've become more careful, this summer when I visited stillarium we were mostly outdoors and it was very hot and sunny and at some point I would ususally notice that I wasn't wearing long sleeves or long pants and that I didn't have suncream with me and think "Damn, I'm gonna get sunburned". But it never happened XD Don't know why. I didn't tan either -.-
The bad thing is that when people see pale skin in the summer they think I'm some geek who never goes out and it's just not true :/
Wow, you got that from playing with a highlighter? That would have scared me, too! Does that still happen to you these days?

Ah, I have an aunt who has a similar reaction to fake jewelry. I'm very glad I seem to be find with metals for the most part. I don't have my ears pierced either though...I think my ears would get infected very easily. That would be bad. =/ Belts! I didn't even think of that. I don't think many belts would have real silver buckles? Most belts seem to be plain metal with a cheap coating of paint. At least, all the belts I have are pretty much like that!
I don't think I was very good at socializing with other children either. XD; I seemed to be better at it in elementary school though. I wonder what made me such a recluse as I got older. ^^;; Aw, school should have been fun back in elementary school!
I don't put on sunblock a lot...but I really should because I get sunburned easily. Wow, going 10 years without a sunburn, that's nice! Hot and sunny sounds really nice too just about now. XD;
The highlighter thing was pretty recent, so I'm sure if I still had that highlighter, I would have a reaction to it. It's really strange because I don't even have allergies or anything...or maybe that was an allergic reaction.
Yay, I'll be looking forward to your postcard! I hope it comes safely across the sea. ^___^

I don't have any belts with real silver, but they have very little metal or maybe the cheap paint is thick enough. I don't know why but I'm mostly okay with the ones I have now.
So in elementary school you were better at socializing than you are now? Somehow I didn't picture you as a recluse. xD I didn't think elementary school was fun. I remember that I was very eager to start school because I wanted to learn to read and stuff, but then all we did the first day was play games from kindergarten. I thought what a waste of time. x'D I was a strange child. ^^'
It's so freeeeezing cold right now. If it's not going to snow anytime soon than I want summer back xD
Did you ever get tested for allergies? Maybe you've got one and just don't know. Some allergies only show up over time. My mom was fine as a kid and now she's allergic to just about everything.
I hope the postcard reaches you safely, too! I wonder how long it'll take xD
