Prince, Prince, and more Prince

Man, I am obsessed with 1/2 Prince. (I've read too much of the novels this weekend) I've been eying my wig for Tadase again and thinking of the red contacts I'm getting for Tadase and how I can totally use that for Prince too. I'm even looking at elf ears. I can possibly do his first outfit. Only one weekend after this left until Fanime...I don't think I'll be able to get any new cosplay done. D:

If you have not read 1/2 Prince, you can read it here! I recommend it to people who like MMORPGs and series with a dash of gender bender, keeping secrets, comedy, making fun of other series, and romance~. This is a series where characters even have online names like Legolas and Kenshin. There are lots of Chinese cultural references too.

Today, I doodled a lot of Prince to practice his expressions. I haven't drawn anything original yet...still practicing with Prince's faces from the manhua~. This is with reference up to chapter 7. I'm going to go through the other chapters when I have time. There are some more cool shots of him...


Seriously, he looks different every time!!!! even in the original Bottom left one...shoujo? XD; I think my drawings of him make him look more like Miwa. D:


Ahaha, the middle right one doesn't even look like him. I like the top left and the bottom right one. Top left = good deal of angst. XD; Bottom right is when Prince starts being serious (and starts having smaller eyes). Darn, I thought I'd gotten used to his hair, but after he gets the tiara, his hair starts being parted!! I draw the tiara like a strawberry. :D

Naaah, he doesn't look like Miwa - he'd not glaring enough. ;p Or have big enough, and as many, eyelashes. *stares at Miwa* And you wonder why you got mistake for a girl?
Okay, the left second row one is from when Prince first opens his eyes when Lan's deciding what character to be, and the one beside that one is from the second chapter. :3
XD I think the eyes make the bottom left look like he's supposed to be in a shoujo.
:D I like the right second row one. (This may get confusing XD;;)

Prince's head seems... flat when you get used to the later chapters with the tiara and the parting, and then you start reading the earlier chapters again. XD;; Or maybe that's just me.

I'm amused by the picture above the bottom left picture - it looks like his ears are down as well since he's shouting. I wonder if his ears move depending on how he feels, like a dog? *has been re-reading Guard Dog*

The manga looks interseting..maybe I'll read it later, after school is over.
