Video games I've been playing recently. First is Fire Emblem 12 (Shin Monshou no Shou). I started playing this in 2010 but stopped, thinking that I'd wait for a North American release... but that never happened. Restarting the game now (just in time because now there's an English patch), though I'm doing terrible in the game. Probably the worst I've ever done. |D;; (I also nearly named my character Luke when there's already a Luke in the game, oops, and reading my previous post about the game... I knew about the character back then! Oh what a shoddy memory...) I'm now a bit further than I had gotten last time, but still not too far in the game. I'm probably not training the myunit character the best way. I like mages too much, but they don't have the best defense. |D Let's see if I can finish the game this time and not forget it for another two years...
I'm all ready for the next Fire Emblem. Bought myself a 3DS for it. \o\ Currently playing Theatrhythm Final Fantasy on it. All the nostalgiaaaa. Though I actually haven't beaten a single Final Fantasy game before, ahaha...
Latest movies I've watched!
Skyfall
This movie makes me want to bust out the previous 007 movies and watch them all. (I have the fondest memories of Goldeneye, though mostly because of the N64 game. I had tons of fun with that game.) I'm still not big on Craig!Bond, but I've gotten to like him more in this movie.
I had to hold in my snorts over the way Bond was introduced back into the story (him on the island). *shakes head* Q was cute and I was expecting that since I'd seen mentions of him all over the internet. =P I didn't remember Q's role in previous 007 films much, so I read up on that later... wow, what a big difference from previous Qs. I kind of miss the gadgets!
Rise of the Guardians
Just watched this today, and I came away feeling the movie was adorable. Tooth was all excited over teeth, and when the little tooth fairies brought the kid back home during the credits, they even helped the kid brush before going to bed! XD It's all about teeth for them. Jack Frost in this movie was made of adorableness too, both his design and his character. (I really liked how he looked. |D;;;) He was so unsure of himself for so many years!! Must've been really lonely, but he never lost his sense of fun. North reminded me of Merida's father from Brave, haha. Bunnymund had awesome interactions with Jack Frost, and Bunny was adorable when he turned tiny. How adorable was Sandy as well? So powerful too. <3 There were kids crying in the theater during the Sandy scene after Pitch got him. ;__;
I kind of want to cross Rise of the Guardians and Yoroshiku Master in fic, though there would be one too many santas around if that happened. XD; (Hm, though I guess Kurumi and Daisuke would be the Japanese division? XD;;;)
