Okay! :D Actually, let's play after you've gone through it (let me know ^^) cause it'll teach you all the basic rules. Starting out is so hard... you should be a little better than beginners though because of Hikago (maybe... I don't really think Hikago teaches anything other than the ladder XD;).
XD; I can tell who's winning and generally what happened, if the level isn't too high. I can't follow the moves or anything or memorize a game or the other crazy things Hikaru does ^^;.
Somehow (I can't remember how) my coworker and I discovered we both play go... a crazy Korean oldtimer who used to play go for cash when he was in the military. T__T (How am I supposed to beat that?!) His motto is "No mercy." *cries* Another one of our coworkers started to learn, and he told me to cream him (so cruel) cause I was playing him (he was only a beginner!) extremely conservatively. XD;
There's another guy T who plays too but I never got a chance to play him before we moved buildings. But generally go players are really rare, I see people playing chess sometimes though. In college, a lot of math phds play go. o.O But they're like... math phds. So scary. XD;
