I do not understand go. I tried playing against my brother, but I did not have a clue what he was doing. And so I made him play against himself (game below).

Spent a lot of time going through the fics again and through people's fics archives. I wrote down only 5 guesses (yay, five), but even those I'm very unsure about. It's just getting really confusing, and I've realized that I'm not familiar at all with most of everyone's styles.
I've posted this in my personal lj last year or so, but I still think it's awfully neat, so I'm posting these pics here too.

My brother and I found my uncle's little corner in the house very cool. My brother started playing go after watching HnG, and online too, though I never learned. He lent Hikaru no Go to his friend, and then his friend started playing go online too. And then we made our cousin watch the series, and he started to play too. ^_^;; I do believe we managed to addict everyone we made watch the series, though of course not everyone started playing go because of it. Though, my friend (who's a Sai lover) and I managed to film a skit about go for our final Calculus project in high school.

Anyway, my uncle's room was really cool. We did nigiri and I guess I got black. I don't remember, but it didn't really matter much when my brother ended up playing it all by himself (and losing to himself). Mm, book of go to the right. Was in Chinese. Looking through it didn't help me much. :3

Close up of the go-ke. Perhaps I should've taken the lids off. The stones were really nice and pretty (compared to the ones I have! Stupid, plastic things).

Not go, but look at that pretty pot collection!!
In conclusion,
